Quarantine Art Club with Melina (Movement Themed Edition)
A fantastic session this was with Melina beaming in from her apartment in Buenos Aires, Argentina and all the OCA students from around the world. The first half of the session begins with a series of poses which connect with one another, creating a series of fluid and dynamic poses for you to draw from. These slowing moving poses are designed to help you become looser and more freer with your mark making, albeit less precious! Expect to draw over and over the previous poses on the same page until you end up with a myriad of overlapped traces of where Melina's body has danced around the space.
In the second half of the session, we revert to 3 longer static 10-15 minute poses after having warmed up in the first half.
This is a great resource where you can stop on any pose and make some detailed drawings and paintings from the replay, especially for detailed drawers and beginners.
You’ll also be able to see all the amazing work from the other international artists during the break! (Streaming only)
